Your files deserve serious protection. Convertere is built with security in mind: encryption in transit, isolated conversion processing, automatic cleanup of uploads, and careful access controls so your content stays private, safe, and yours.
Built for Trust at Every Layer
Multi-factor authentication
Secure your Convertere account with multi-factor authentication (MFA / 2FA) where enabled. Requiring a second verification step helps ensure only authorized users can access your account.
Isolated processing environments
Every file conversion job runs in an isolated processing environment. Jobs are separated so one conversion does not mix with another user’s work. We process your files only to fulfill the conversion you requested.
Privacy-first by design
Convertere is built around converting your files, not collecting them. We aim to process only the data needed to provide the Service, delete uploaded files promptly after conversion, and support privacy rights under applicable law. See our Privacy Policy for details. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request via support@convertere.io.
Data encryption
File uploads and downloads are protected with TLS/SSL encryption in transit. Sensitive credentials (such as API keys, where applicable) are handled with application-level protections appropriate to the Service.
Vulnerability management
We use secure development practices and ongoing maintenance to reduce security risk. Findings are prioritized and addressed according to severity. We continuously improve our defenses as threats evolve.
Network and abuse protection
Our platform uses network-level and edge protections (including CDN and firewall defenses) to help absorb volumetric attacks and block abusive traffic so conversion workflows stay available.

At Convertere, the safety and privacy of your files is a top priority. Our approach combines technical controls with operational discipline. Whether you convert a single file or run many jobs through the product, we aim to handle every file with care.
Cloud Infrastructure Standards
Convertere runs on industry-standard cloud infrastructure. We select providers and services that support strong availability, confidentiality, and operational security practices. We monitor our dependency surface and require appropriate contractual protections from processors that handle personal data on our behalf, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
Data Isolation for Maximum Privacy
Your files are yours. Conversion jobs run in separate, short-lived processing contexts that are torn down when the job finishes. This isolation is designed so that one job cannot access another user’s data. Support staff do not need routine access to file contents; if support requires a file, you share it explicitly.
Immediate File Deletion
We do not keep your uploads longer than necessary. Uploaded files are deleted after conversion completes, and in all cases within 24 hours of upload — whichever comes first. Convertere is a conversion service, not a long-term storage product. For longer-term storage, use your own systems or integrations you configure.
Encrypted Data Transfers
All file uploads and downloads use modern TLS encryption. Our systems are protected by network controls and monitoring intended to detect and block unauthorized access patterns. API traffic, where available, uses the same encryption expectations as the web interface.
Scalable and Resilient Infrastructure
Convertere is engineered to handle demand without sacrificing isolation. Processing capacity can scale with load. Workloads are isolated so heavy usage by one customer is less likely to degrade reliability for others.
Access Control and Authentication
The web product uses strong authentication, with optional multi-factor authentication where offered. Where API access is available, it uses token-based credentials with permissions scoped to what you configure; you can review and revoke access from account settings when those features are available. Account and security settings are under your control.
Secure Development Practices
Our engineering practices follow modern secure-development guidance (including OWASP-informed practices). Code changes go through review before production. We use automated checks in continuous integration where practical and address security findings on a risk-adjusted schedule.
Fault Tolerance and Availability
We design for resilience: redundant paths, health checks, and operational monitoring so transient failures are less likely to interrupt your workflows. We continuously improve reliability; specific numerical SLAs are published separately when offered under a commercial agreement.
GDPR and Privacy Compliance
As a privacy-conscious platform, Convertere is committed to complying with applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR where it applies. We process personal data under lawful bases described in our Privacy Policy, retain data only as long as needed for the stated purposes, and support access and deletion requests.
